"I wasn't thinking," Akiha protests huffily. She's not used to Nico being the one doing the chiding, and her immediate reaction is dislike. She's not a child. Her shoulders tense up as Nico pushes her down, and she catches herself on her hands, keeping her from being pressed completely flat against the mattress.

"I just... thou..." She cuts herself off, then trails into an indistinct mumble before just sighing and giving up, lifting her hands and falling onto her back herself, brushing her hair out of the way to prevent it from getting caught between her and the bed. The last thing she wants is to damage it.

"Fine, you win," Akiha sighs. "But there's no way I can stop thinking completely."
