Nico huffs out a laugh, hand momentarily pausing its movements to prod Akiha's back. "Like I care about that, goofball."

It's such a silly thing to even think about, but then, that's how Akiha is, isn't it? She's always going to fuss over petty little things like that -- and she'll always look for reasons to chastise herself for being anything less than perfect. Like she's failing someone just by having feelings.
