"No, no, that's okay," Pearl says, a little too quickly. She's not some kind of blushing prude, after all, and Rose has seen and known her body intimately any number of times. There's no need to be ridiculous about it. No need at all.

Her boots wrestled into submission and tucked neatly into a corner beside the door, she gets back to her feet. Her nose is starting to run in the way they do after coming in out of the cold, and she wipes the back of her hand across it, feeling faintly disgusting. Yeah, she needs that shower right away. A pause to glance again at Rose, and then she begins to wriggle out of her pullover.

"That's a very large bag, for my clothes." The last part of the sentence is muffled as she pulls the fabric over her head.
